6/11/09: Help Us Fight Youth Violence - Teen Summer Program

Chicago youth are at war; between January and April of this year, 22 youth had already been murdered. In anticipation of increased violence as the weather heats up, the police are being armed with assault weapons! It is heartbreaking to our youth in this state. This fighting and killing is a result of hopelessness and frustration. Teens are crying out for help, and where some see despair, others see opportunity: a time to reach out and embrace the youth and show them a way off the streets and into life. A group of pro-active community members have created the Transformed Teens organization dedicated to transforming at-risk teens into positive powerful achievers.| Download>>
