Transforming our youth is a community effort. There are several organizations and individuals with resources that can make a huge impact if put together. We seek not to create a new initiative, but to combine existing services and opportunities into one mega project that will have monumental positive effect on the state of our youth.

We need:

Volunteers: People willing to share of themselves as team members, workshop leaders, chaperons, and/or counselors.

Money: Many of our students come from homes where money is an issue. In order to participate in the program they will need a sponsor to help them secure their uniform, ball gown/tux, and other necessities. Consider creating a scholarship in your or your organization’s name to support a participant.

Please note that while we are an Illinois non-profit corporation, we have yet to receive 501 c 3 designation from the IRS. We are in the process of completing the application. Currently we have a 501 c 3 Fiscal Sponsor who will accept any donations for this program that must be granted to a 501 c 3 organization. Contact us for more details if you want your contribution to be tax deductible.

Resources: Not everything has to be purchased with cash. In-kind donations of products and services will be of great assistance to this project. Some examples of resources needed include:

• Project Supplies: Pens, paper, notebooks, poster board, etc
• Formal Wear: Tuxedo, Suite & Gown Rental/ Donation
• Services: Make-up, Hair Cuts, Salon Services (Manicure, Pedicure, Styling, etc)
